About

1-Day DV-aware Workshop is an interactive workshop where you learn how to recognise and respond to domestic and family violence and what you can do to help make a difference.

You will learn:

  • how to identify the different signs and forms of abuse that constitute domestic and family violence.

  • about the Cycle of Violence and the Power and Control Wheel (The Duluth Model).

  • what you can do if you know someone who is experiencing domestic and family violence.

You will also have an opportunity to network with other individuals and receive tools and references for domestic and family violence support and referral.
